Louise Davidson

Counsellor | Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP)

I counsel young people from the age of 16, adults and older adults in private practice. My training is integrative, allowing me to draw on a range of theories to support our work. My approach holistic, working with your thoughts, feelings and physical well-being. In a safe, non-judgemental space we will explore the challenges that you face and look towards the changes that you seek. What you share will be held in confidence. We will work at your pace and in line with your needs. Our work will enable you to gain a deeper understanding of who you are, how you relate with others and the world at large. Through this greater awareness you will have the opportunity for personal growth and change by aligning more fully with your self.

I offer short and long term, face to face counselling from the practice on a Wednesday. Areas in which I can offer you support include but are not exclusive; stress, anxiety, panic attacks, depression, self-esteem, anger management, bereavement and loss, parenting, trauma, self-harm, relationships, women’s issues, menopause, identity issues, personal development, life transitions, family dynamics, spirituality.

The first session will give you the opportunity to share what brings you to counselling and what you hope to get from the process and for us to decide how we might work together.

Sessions will last for 50 minutes. The session fee is £55.00.

I am a registered member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP) and work to their ethical framework. I have ongoing training and regular supervision.

Concurrent with my private practice, I work with young people and adults at a BACP accredited Youth Agency.
